Nassau Road in Roosevelt was closed for about four hours following a multiple vehicle crash Friday afternoon.
It happened at around 4 p.m. on Nassau Road near Woods Avenue. At least four different vehicles were involved.
Surveillance video shows one car appearing to speed while driving north on Nassau Road. The car hits another vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn.
Crime scene investigators were at the crash site. A Nassau police spokesperson said the incident started in Freeport but could not provide further details. A Nassau police helicopter was seen overhead.
Nassau police have not provided information about injuries. It’s not clear if any arrests have been made.
