Man faces judge for alleged role in fatal Farmingdale hit-and-run

Christopher Rosselli was not arrested until Tuesday for the crash that happened in January.

A man faced a judge Wednesday in connection to a fatal Farmingdale hit-and-run that happened in January.
Police say Christopher Rosselli fled the scene on Merrits Road after striking Mohamed Elromi.
Rosselli was not arrested until Tuesday.
The victim’s brother, Ahmed Zaki Elromi, says he forgives Rosselli.
“As a Muslim, we’re taught to forgive no matter what,” Elromi says. “At first, it was tough – a little hatred. But we’re humans, we’re flawed. I forgave him, it’s what you have to do.”
Rosselli’s bail was set at $50,000.
