CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — State police have released their Thanksgiving weekend statistics and hundreds of traffic stops with over a dozen DUIs were reported.
The weekend statistics account for midnight Wednesday to 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
Around 244 motor vehicle crashes were reported, state police said.
Out of 509 traffic stops around 14 DUIs were reported, state police said.
Calls for service related to removing debris, and assisting with disabled or hazardous vehicles accounted for 177 calls, state police said.
There was a total of 2,609 calls for service on the celebratory weekend, according to state police.
