STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bridgeport man was arrested for allegedly displaying a firearm during a road rage incident on Merritt Parkway in Stratford Thursday, according to state police.
Around, 3:44 p.m., Troopers from Troop G were informed of a road rage incident on Route 15 South near Exit 52. The caller told police that he was in a road rage incident where a man allegedly displayed a firearm, state police said.
State police said they were able to get registration information for the suspect. The victim told police this came after they were in traffic for almost 30 minutes and the suspect car, a white Kia, cut him off several times.
State police said troopers found a loaded Glock handgun in the Kia with a loaded magazine that was seized as evidence.
Moore was arrested and charged with threatening with a firearm in the first degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.
