MADISON, Conn. (WTNH) — A 23-year-old man was caught going 120 mph on Interstate 95 in Madison, according to state police.
Dustin Hueffman of Milford was charged with reckless driving and passing on the right after state police said a trooper caught him speeding and weaving from one lane to another around 12:45 a.m. Saturday.
When a trooper asked Hueffman why he was driving so fast, Hueffman allegedly said he had seen an open highway and wanted to “open up the car.”
Hueffman was released on a $500 bond and is due in court in March.
