ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU/Gray News) – A woman in Indiana was arrested after allegedly driving around a school bus and nearly hitting two students who were trying to board at the time.
Police said 23-year-old Shau-Ri Rose voluntarily turned herself in Monday morning. A warrant had been issued for her arrest after charges were filed against her late last week.
Rose is charged with two felony counts of criminal recklessness.

Video of Rose allegedly passing the bus last Tuesday was captured through a Ring doorbell camera and went viral on social media.
In the video, you can see a 17-year-old and 15-year-old about to board the bus when a car drives onto the shoulder of the side where kids enter the bus and pass the bus directly in front of the two teens.
According to charging documents, Rose told investigators she was taking her son to day care at the time of the incident and had turned around to tell him to get back in his car seat after he unstrapped himself from it.
She said the bus had stopped by the time she turned around and that she had to drive around it to avoid crashing into it because her brakes weren’t working well and was unable to stop.
After seeing the video on social media, Rose allegedly told police she tried to call them but was unsuccessful. Police later noticed two outgoing phone calls to the St. Joseph County Police Department after going through her call records.
