An Inwood woman accused of driving while intoxicated with a 2-year-old inside the vehicle was arrested on Friday night.
Police say they observed her driving the wrong way around 7:20 p.m. on the Nassau Expressway.
Officers pulled over 44-year-old Yajaira Castillo and noticed she had slurred speech, watery eyes and smelled of alcohol.
The charges against her include aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child.
