Man pleads guilty to driving drunk in stolen car, causing 4-car collision in Patchogue

A 52-year-old man pleaded guilty Tuesday to driving drunk in a stolen car and causing a four-car collision.
The accident happened in June on North Ocean Avenue in Patchogue.
It began when Jeffrey Edsall crashed into an SUV that was turning into a funeral home. The impact caused Edsall to spin into oncoming traffic and hit two other cars.
A 73-year-old woman in one of the other cars broke her nose, wrist and leg.
Edsall faces up to six years in prison.
